Preparations are underway for the 47th National Hedgelaying Championships, which will take place on Saturday 10th October 2026 in Chipping Norton.
The Championships are the highlight of the hedgelaying calendar, bringing together over 100 of the country’s finest hedgelayers to compete across a range of classes. Throughout the day, competitors will demonstrate their craftsmanship as they compete for 1st, 2nd or 3rd in each style, and for the coveted title of Supreme Champion.
The event offers far more than the competition itself and makes for a great day out. Visitors can browse a wide range of trade stands, enjoy traditional craft displays, and sample food and drink from a variety of vendors.
