Isle of Wight Hedgelaying Competition

The 2025 Isle of Wight Hedgelaying Competition, run by Wight Nature Fund and hosted by Michael Morris, will be held on 22nd February
The event will be based out of Apesdown Farm Yard, near Betty Haunt Lane, with competition starting at 1000hrs and finishing at 1500hrs.
Competitor entry forms will be available shortly.

You have prior experience of hedgelaying and have completed an ‘Introductory To Hedgelaying Training Course, received a pass certificate and now wish to enhance your skills even further.
We offer a five-day practical training course in hedgelaying including an optional assessment leading to a National Hedgelaying Society Lantra Accreditation at Bronze level.
Your tutor, Paul Matthews is Lantra Accredited to Gold standard.
