For those of you who are keen to get the date in your diary, Saturday 10th October, 2026, is the date to pencil in.
It had been anticipated that the competiton would be held annually in the first week of October, following on from the success last year, however, to ensure tthe attendance of our hosts, this year will nudge into the second week.
John and Catherine Hartz will host the competition at East Downs Farm, Chipping Norton, Oxfordhsire, OX7 5XE.
Chipping Norton, affectionaltely known by locals as ‘Chippy’, is the highest place, geographically, in the Cotswolds, so hopefully should serve as an ideal venue for hedgelaying!
