Hedgerows help to define the uniqueness of the British countryside and are an important wildlife habitat. They require sympathetic management if we are to preserve them for future generations. The National Hedge Laying Society is dedicated to improving the understanding of hedgerows and improving the standards of hedgerow management throughout the UK

The following training days for Coppicing & Hedge Laying are planned as follows:

Training Fee for Hedge Laying is £20 per day. The Coppicing days are free.

Daylsford Farm

John Savings, National Hedge Laying Society Accredited Hedgelayer, will be at Daylesford Organic on Saturday 27th November 2010, imparting his knowledge and expertise. The course starts at 9.30am and by the end of the day you will be able to admire your own laid hedge creation.

9.30 - 4pm. £95 per person; includes winter warming refreshments and a hearty organic lunch. Hosted on the Daylesford Farm (www.daylesfordorganic.com).
